While maintaining a report of incidents and monitoring security cameras are indeed important duties that contribute to the overall safety and security strategy, they are part of the larger responsibility rather than the main goal of a security officer's job. Managing employee schedules, though an organizational task, falls outside the primary functions of a security officer. Thus, ensuring safety and security is the overarching duty that encapsulates all other responsibilities.
